| One last stop for BBQ! Tomorrow I install the new lowers, give the bikes one last "once over" and we are off to Key West on Sunday morning! |
One of the things on our "bucket list" is a perimeter ride of the USA...on motorcycles. After all, we have been riding two wheels longer than we care to admit! Since we have never been the type to "follow the crowd", we decided that we would attempt this ride on scooters. *****************UPDATE************** We have lost our minds...AGAIN! We are doing the Perimeter Ride again, this time on cruisers. Stay tuned for more adventures of Ken and Sharlene!!!!

Dinner at Corky Bells'

| Stopped in at Corky Bells tonight. Corky Bells is about 5 miles north of Green Cove Springs, Fl. Great seafood, good service and even better prices! You gotta try the Georgia Shrimp special! This is Sharlene with our server Sylvia. Stop in and ask for Sylvia...she suggested the Georgia Shrimp and was right on the money! Way to go Sylvia! |

| Went out for dinner last night with brother Jerry and Wife Tessie. As we were cruising on the freeway, I noticed this passenger...maybe I should call my insurance agent and tell him that "the lizard" rides with me! |

| My new Mustang Saddle arrived today...took less than 10 minutes to install! This seat should smooth out some of the bumps! |

| Getting closer to leaving! We stopped in at First Coast Powersports (St. Augustine, FL.) for a new tire. This is Jeff and Bob...these guys are great! Got us in for a new rear tire with no appointment AND a fair price! If you are in the area, stop in and see these guys (spend a little cash, too)! |

More Adventures of Ken and Sharlene!
We are finished with our activities in Texas. We have married off our last son gaining a lovely daughter Madisen,moved our remaining belongings into a larger facility, enjoyed a Christmas with all our children in one location on the same day, added a handsome grandson Eli to our growing family, added to the treasury coffers, and increased our knowledge of homebrewing. We will be welcoming to our family Paul and Alex in the 2014 wedding of the year to our beautiful daughter Kristin. We are now half way through the planning of our next big ride. The 4 corner / permiter ride was so much fun last spring, we are going to do it again. This time we have registered with SCMA (Southern California Motorcycle Association),the record keepers of long distance motorcycle rides. We are going to start our ride June 1st or shortly after that. Watch for daily updates and details.
