One of the things on our "bucket list" is a perimeter ride of the USA...on motorcycles. After all, we have been riding two wheels longer than we care to admit! Since we have never been the type to "follow the crowd", we decided that we would attempt this ride on scooters. *****************UPDATE************** We have lost our minds...AGAIN! We are doing the Perimeter Ride again, this time on cruisers. Stay tuned for more adventures of Ken and Sharlene!!!!

Day 6
We started out our day at 9 am in Monticello, FL. We rode 293.8 miles today and about half of it was in the rain. Thank you Tropical Storm Beryl! It tested out the rain cover on our Tourmaster bags. They worked just great and proved to be water resistant even when we pulled the covers off. We spotted our first Burgman on the road in Inglis, FL. So if anyone knows who travelled north on 19 with a silver scooter, add a comment! The wind gusts were strong at times and as you can see we even pulled under a over pass on 75 today. Ended our ride about 6:30. We enjoyed dinner at Sonny's BBQ, one of Ken's favorite's. Then a dip in the pool. We are ready for some Alleve and a comfortable bed.
