One of the things on our "bucket list" is a perimeter ride of the USA...on motorcycles. After all, we have been riding two wheels longer than we care to admit! Since we have never been the type to "follow the crowd", we decided that we would attempt this ride on scooters. *****************UPDATE************** We have lost our minds...AGAIN! We are doing the Perimeter Ride again, this time on cruisers. Stay tuned for more adventures of Ken and Sharlene!!!!

Day 10 Rain, Rain go away...
Our total mileage today was 282.5. Not bad at all considering we started and ended in rain again. Not as bad as yesterday, but wet is wet. We stopped and took off and put on rain gear at least twice. You get to a point with light rain to just disregard as your clothes will dry off. The major downpours are quite a different story! We really enjoy talking with people about our "Ride" along the way. John has been the most inquisitive young man about how to put it all together. South Carolina state line so far has been the most impressive. The entrance looked like something to a gated community. To our greeter at Cracker Barrel, Penny, keep those bucket list trips with the 8 girls going. It will be worth it! And yes, go ride the zip line. We will be heading to North Carolina and Virgina tomorrow. We should reach Susan and Phil's place Sunday night. The weather is looking good for tomorrow and rain free!
