One of the things on our "bucket list" is a perimeter ride of the USA...on motorcycles. After all, we have been riding two wheels longer than we care to admit! Since we have never been the type to "follow the crowd", we decided that we would attempt this ride on scooters. *****************UPDATE************** We have lost our minds...AGAIN! We are doing the Perimeter Ride again, this time on cruisers. Stay tuned for more adventures of Ken and Sharlene!!!!

Day 13 Cool Temps! - by Sharlene
We started out at 3pm and rode 153 miles to Harrisburg, PA. We continued our visit with Susan today and did the last bit of laundry. Wore my gloves for the first time on our journey as temps were in the 60's and mid 50's. The farms in this area are very green and beautiful. You can start to see a difference in the building style of farms, homes and historical sites. We didn't come in to the rain until Harrisburg. It was a cool, almost cold ride this afternoon. We chose to walk to dinner next door at the Skyline Diner for beef stew, partly to warm us up. Tomorrow looks to be mostly clear with some spots of light rain. If we are lucky we can miss it. I'll make sure to pray about that and have Ken do an Indian rain dance just in case. It felt strange to ride such a short distance today. Perhaps we are becoming used to riding all day and it feels weird to take a half day off.
