Day 26 Rain Rain go away, come again while we're away!

Sharlene preparing to do battle with the rain...and did it RAIN! About 20 miles West of Manistique we ran into a torrent! The rain was bad, visibility was almost zero, and the road was disappearing! There was nowhere to stop except right on the roadside. After sitting patiently for about 10 minutes, the rain eased up and and gave way to...HAIL! After a while, the hail went back to rain for about 20 minutes. We were finally able to roll along for about 20 more miles then MORE RAIN! After riding in rain for the next 50 miles or so, we sloshed into Iron Mountain and decided to call it a day! Hopefully, tomorrow will be a little less rainy!

We had the pleasure of enjoying breakfast here (Manistique). Delicious food and great service!
