Day 29 - Escape from Duluth!!!

After being stranded in Superior, WI for 2 days, we are finally in Minnesota!

Our wonderful friends, Kevin and Suzanne. We met these folks last year while in Branson, MO. Being in Duluth gave us the chance to enjoy breakfast together. They are such a pleasure to just be around! Suzanne is the kind of person that makes you feel more like family than just a friend! Then there's Kevin...Kevin is so smart about stuff that even "MacGyver" could learn from him...my kind of guy!!! Seeing Kevin and Suzanne was a highlight of our trip. We were anxious to get on the road and hated to say goodbye...but I'm sure our paths will cross again! (Soon I hope!)

This lady was busy re-routing traffic around all the flooding, but took time to show us how to get back on our original route.

This became an all too familiar site as we were leaving Duluth!

No Sharlene, she said go North then turn West!!! LOL Sharlene has been an excellent navigator on this journey!!! Thank you, Sweetie!!!
