Day 35 - Kalispell

It's time to move no matter how windy it is.

Glacier Park US 49 entrance

Road construction delays are the norm around here. They don't have a very big window of time to fix them from the winter season.

We have a room at the Inn! Well, the Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

The view from our room was beautiful.

Really? Do you have to take a picture?

We rode from Cut Bank to Kalispell for a total of 140 miles. The wind leaving Cut Bank was as the locals said it would be. Strong gusts to 70 mph until you get to the west side of Browning. We ran into a little road construction but the delays were not long. On to East Glacier where we stopped for coffee to warm up and a bite to eat. It was 48* when we left and didn't warm up until we came in closer to Kalispell to 68*. A beginning  to a beautiful ride through Glacier National Park. The mountains were amazing with glacier melt creating waterfalls along the way. We didn't see any wild life along the way but lots of warnings for bears. We rode along the very full Glacier river and Maria Pass into the Flathead Valley area. After locating our hotel, Ken wasn't feeling quite right so we went over to the Kalispell Regional Medical Center. Let's just say the staff at the hospital were wonderful and if your ever are in need of help this is the place to go. They decided as a precaution to have us spend the night with them and it was determined that Ken needed to adjust a medication dosage.

Aunt Betty says some people may be too sexy for their shirt, but Ken is too sexy for that hospital gown. Seriously, glad you're ok.
