One of the things on our "bucket list" is a perimeter ride of the USA...on motorcycles. After all, we have been riding two wheels longer than we care to admit! Since we have never been the type to "follow the crowd", we decided that we would attempt this ride on scooters. *****************UPDATE************** We have lost our minds...AGAIN! We are doing the Perimeter Ride again, this time on cruisers. Stay tuned for more adventures of Ken and Sharlene!!!!

Day 40 Whidbey Island by Sharlene
We rode over to Whidbey Island and enjoy some easy riding and a restful day. Logging in just over 100 miles. We had fun riding the ferry both ways today and only had rain for a bit on the return from Anacortes. We have spotted some wild life on our ride a skunk, 2 doe's, 1 buck and a bald eagle. To our Burgman followers we were spotted by one of you today in Coupeville. That is so exciting! Deception Pass is stunning. There are several areas to camp and something we will plan to visit again. One thing we have enjoyed watching the scuba divers everyday. They certainly have a abundant source of crabs to catch in this area. The people crabbing off the pier don't catch near as many. They literally walk into the Sound about chest deep watch and have a fist full of crabs. To Chrissy of Houston BBQ, enjoy the photos of the Northwest. One day you will get to see if for your self. Off to Oregon tomorrow.
