One of the things on our "bucket list" is a perimeter ride of the USA...on motorcycles. After all, we have been riding two wheels longer than we care to admit! Since we have never been the type to "follow the crowd", we decided that we would attempt this ride on scooters. *****************UPDATE**************
We have lost our minds...AGAIN! We are doing the Perimeter Ride again, this time on cruisers. Stay tuned for more adventures of Ken and Sharlene!!!!

Thanks for sharing! Looks like a great ride! So where to next????
Hi Sandy At the moment, we are just getting used to sleeping in the same bed more than two nights in a row! More than likely, we will be heading to Alaska (motorhome) in the Spring. Whatever we do, it will be on the blog! Stay tuned!
Guys, great blog. I suggest, however, that you take the perimeter ride out of the blog and republish it such that it can more easily be viewed in chronological order. (Not that you should delete it from here, of course.) A blog is a nice way to do it while you are traveling, but it's not the ideal way to view it after you get back.
I think if I were you, I would have gone either 2up on one 650, or on two separate 400s. The 400s are cheaper and much better on fuel, and you could carry just as much as you did on the 650s. Or, carry less on one 650, but be able to switch off on doing the driving.

Looks like a great time Ken. To share a quest together on long winding roads that nerver seem to end. At night never along under the stars. Frank B.
